Valdon Caesar

 

 

 

Mr. Valdon Caesar is a former senior civil servant, having worked in various capacities in several Bermuda Government Ministries. Val began his legal career in the Ministry of Justice as a Trainee Draftsman/Pupil Barrister in the Attorney General’s Chambers, where he worked from 2003 to 2007. While in Chambers, Val gained a wealth of legal experience in providing advice/opinions to various Government Ministries and Departments, drafting legislation, leases and contracts and the debt collection process.

 

In September 2002, Val was granted a leave of absence from his substantive post in Government to train as a lawyer. He attended the University of Buckingham in the United Kingdom and obtained his Bachelor of Law Degree in December 2004. Val then attended Thames Valley University in London, England, where he successfully completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC).

 

In addition to his legal qualifications, Val also holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Toledo, in Ohio, USA. Following his qualifying as a teacher, he taught at the secondary school level in Bermuda, and then undertook a period of training as an Administrative Trainee in the Public Service.

 

After 32 years of service, Val retired from Government’s employ and joined the firm of Lynda Milligan-Whyte & Associates in January 2009. His areas of interest include Corporate, Property, Employment and Family Law
